Paul JOUVE (1878-1973) Royal Eagle. Original lithograph, black print. Artist's proof on japon nacré paper. Signed and justified Epreuve d'artiste, lower right. Artist's dry stamp lower right. 28 x 22 cm Historical background: This lithograph is part of a series of ten lithographs specially made by Paul Jouve for Charles Terrasse's book. When the book was completed, Jouve printed a separate set of thirty artist's proofs, all on Japon paper, with the art printer Lucien Détruit.
