Lot of four textiles, including a large shawl in the so-called Manila style, in pink silk embroidered with polychrome flowers, surrounded by bangs; three stoles, two in pale pink silk crepe embroidered with flowers, the third in turquoise with floral decoration, all three with bangs. Two with S. Y. Hsu Canton (good condition, fresh colors).
These pieces probably come from a factory from which an album containing samples of plain or embroidered silk and 20 large sketches of various motifs, mostly floral, in ink on fine paper, folded to fit in the album, is enclosed. With red cloth cover and gilt title: "KIEN HUA HONG, Manufacturers Exporters, Office - 66 Queen's Road, central, Hong Kong, Works Canton China, 1929".
