Richly carved walnut desk. It features a central niche painted with a gallant scene, framed by a tier opening to two drawers highlighted by seated putti, a floral bouquet, scrolls and shells on a trellis background. The openwork belt with garlands of flowers opens to two drawers. The four cambered legs are carved with busts of women in term and linked by an openwork spacer with a trellis and centered on two nymphs.
