Charles MARTIN SAUVAIGO (1881-1970) Ricin et arachide. Oil on panel, stamped on the back. 33 x 41 cm - View: 27 x 29 cm History: Exhibited at the Salon des Artistes français in 1905. His first commissions were for the city of Nice. Appointed official painter to the French Navy in 1922, he won a gold medal at the Salon in 1934, then painted a 440-meter diorama for the 1937 Universal Exhibition.
