This plan was drawn from memory by Sigismund von Herberstein for the new Basel edition in 1556 of his book "Rerum Moscoviticarum Commentarij", and reworked by G. Braun for his book "Civitates orbis terrarum" in 1575, with the addition of figures and animals from the original work below the Moskova and on the right. 40.5 x 53.5 cm (sheet of two glued pages)
