Printed by imprimerie Wallon in Vichy, the plates illustrated in color were printed by imprimerie Dejoie in Paris, the binding in suede imitation, smooth spine and gold tîtres, executed by Marguin in Paris. 16 original illustrations by Jouve. 8 off-text, full-page in color, 7 in-text and cover. The first edition of this book by Edouard Foa was published in 1895, then reissued in 1911 by Plon in Paris. In 1963, Editions Visaphone reissued the book, with illustrations by Paul Jouve, as part of their hunting classics collection.
