Important painting mounted in the form of a labyrinth with old stamps glued together forming a tapestry of postage stamps composed of hundreds of stamps of the Sage type and more than 160 copies of the 20 c black Ceres type (the first stamp of France in 1849). 124 x 98,5 cm History: comes from the former collection of Arthur Maury, editor of the first postage stamps listing and quotation catalog in 1860. This unique piece won first prize in a competition organized by Arthur Maury.
