Algerian nimcha sword. 17th-first half of the 18th century. L : 82,5 cm, blade 70 cm Horn handle adorned with a cut brass element reminiscent of a flower (the second is missing). European blade with low curvature, one edge and single gutter. On each side, a Passau wolf. Steel guard (play in the guard). A rare model. A few examples of this type are however visible at the Lavalette Armory Museum in Malta. Weapons captured during battles against Algerian and Ottoman sailors in the 17th and 18th centuries.
