Box and publisher's folder, in imitation of snakeskin. Limited edition of 123 copies on Arches vellum with the artist's watermark. Paul Jouve's illustrations include 13 full-page compositions. Either 9 full pages in colour, 3 on double page in colour, and one full page in black, and 54 banners. These illustrations are engraved on copperplate in etching, in colour by Raymond Haasen. This copy reserved for the artist is signed by the publisher and by Paul Jouve. It is accompanied by a suite in black of the 13 full-page compositions. This copy is in mint condition in the original presentation of the publisher. No disclaimer or defect. The emboitement and the shirt in imitation of snakeskin, also in mint condition, which is rare.
